TOP 100 RAP SONGS OF ALL TIME #100
Tupac's the best selling emcee of all time, and for good reason. But out there right now there are people of equal skill and potential, maybe even greater. But he had one thing only a few rappers in the history of Hip Hop, even today, have ever had a taste of: Intellect. He's respected as a gangsta, but there are more gangsta rappers than him. He's respected as a poet, but there are more poetic emcees out there. But only a few have ever displayed the slightest hint of intelligence. He even had money, but today there are rappers with half a billion dollars and more. He was more self aware than anybody was (or showed) at that time, and that's why he could be fairly declared as the GROAT. But now it's 2010, and a few emcees have been showing the same awareness and wisdom he had. Just none of them have the whole package like Tupac did, and that's probably why they won't ever hit that mark of respect. The number 100 on my list KEEP YA HEAD UP.youtube channel:http://www.youtube.com/user/realhiphop5
